I hold a Masters (distinction) in Psychodynamic Counselling from Birkbeck College, London University and am a registered and accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
In 2017, I completed a three year advanced training in a new, evidence based therapy: Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). For more details, see: What is Counselling.
I provide the highest quality of support in order to allow my patients to achieve the very best outcome in the shortest time. I am an active advocate of change and encourage my patients to take a healthy stance towards themselves which requires an honest and open exploration of underlying emotions that often get dismissed and ignored resulting in high anxiety, depression and other damaging behaviour.
I have experience in and understanding of the particular emotional difficulties of people working in the media and arts world, people who may be suffering from such things as: writer's block, stage fright, creative freezing and self-doubt.
My aim is to enable clients to reach their full creative potential and to feel at ease with themselves and the world around them.
I work according to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy Code of Ethics.
